About Me

In the words of Thomas Merton, “Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.” 

I had a successful financial researcher and consultant career supported by an MBA and CFA, but I chose to follow my true calling in art. To complement my creative passion, I completed a three-year Diploma in Fine Arts from a leading private institution in New Delhi. Since then, there has been no looking back. 

Over last 15 years I have had many solo shows in different galleries in India and my paintings find home with collectors across the globe, including USA, Canada, Singapore and others..

I enjoy working in contemporary and modern figurative abstract style. Inspired by the constantly evolving journey of life, my artwork weaves together meaningful messages, positive vibes, and pleasing aesthetics. I strive for these contemporary paintings to evoke a sense of contentment and peace, inviting viewers into a reflective and harmonious space. 

My time spent in different countries and my travels across continents, often bear an impact on my art. Nature, culture, and diverse values tend to influence my compositions. Yet, the strong roots of Indian value systems and beliefs often emerge as central theme in many of my original paintings.

Style – Modern Figurative Abstract Art.

I work with mixed media, layering techniques to create visual depth and a dynamic interplay of light and color. My paintings blend abstract concepts with figurative elements, capturing the invisible depths of thoughts and spiritual reflections. They are expressions that transcend the ordinary, reaching into the spiritual and transcendental realms.

Each painting is a unique exploration, where I strive to innovate and express themes often centered around the circle of life, elements of nature, our experiences and relationships—highlighting how these elements evolve over time. I continuously challenge myself by working on diverse themes, with each idea taking form in its own distinctive style.
